Welcome to patching. Patching is likely one of the things that brought you into this course in the first place. It's a very common problem. It's difficult for a lot of people, and it's definitely a topic that needs to be covered very thoroughly.

I'm going to do my absolute best to make patching a breeze for you. I've configured patching for so many different organizations and have learned the ins and outs of it, and now you're going to as well.

This course covers:

- Microsoft patching policies
- Third-party patching policies - "When is this stuff going to happen and to what?"
- Approval policies - "Which updates are we going to push?"
- Reboot policies - "If a reboot is needed, should I do it? Should I do it later? Should I do it now?"

Several case studies are included, such as setting up third-party patching and setting up Microsoft patching (Basic & Advanced)

We also cover navigation in the patch manager. All the information about all the machines and all the patches is there, but it's not readily apparent where to find it.

I'm going to make sure that you understand everything, and that you are an expert on patching and Automate before it's over with.
